Distinctive as the Australian desert itself! Discover four re-created desert environments, witness the energy and spirit of free flying birds, see rare and endangered animals in the Nocturnal House such as the bilby and mala and share in our living culture with local Aboriginal guides. You will never look at deserts in the same way again!

All facilities and exhibits are wheelchair accessible and the Park has electric scooters for those who are less mobile ($10 hire charge).

Approved staff members within the Parks and Wildlife Commission will monitor and respond to requests as quickly as possible. Please note the site will be monitored during business hours (between 8.00am and 4.21pm CST Monday to Friday excluding public holidays).
